Jakarta – Two suspected perpetrators of a murder whose victims’ bodies were found on the outskirts of Bumi Botanika, Lengkong Kulon, Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency, were successfully arrested by the Sub-Directorate of Jatanras Polda Metro Jaya, Sunday (1/1). The two suspected perpetrators are brothers and sisters with the initials MI (22) and MS (20).
Kasubdit Jatanras Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Indrawienny Panjiyoga in his statement explained, the two suspected perpetrators are currently languishing in a detention cell to undergo the examination process.
“We are still intensively investigating the motives of the suspected perpetrators of committing the heinous murder. We are also still seeking clarity from the chronology of events,” said the officer who graduated from the 2004 Tatag Trawang Tungga Tungga Police Academy in a serious tone, Monday (2/1).
Even so, he continued, the alleged main actor in this case was known and confirmed to be MI.
“The alleged perpetrator and the victim actually knew each other well. They were friends playing with one another. A more detailed explanation will follow later,” he said again.
At a different time, the Kapolsek Pagedangan, AKP Seala Syah Alam, said that the death victim had been identified with the initials FM (15). Less than 1 x 24 hours after the discovery of the bodies, the police managed to arrest the two suspected perpetrators based on CCTV footage around the location and witness statements.
According to Seala, the two perpetrators were arrested in the Kebon Nanas area, Pinang, Tangerang City. However, he could not explain the motive of the alleged perpetrator in killing the victim.
