Jakarta – The Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya said that the two suspects in the fraud case of cellphone resellers (procurement of cellphones for resale) Rihana-Rihani always move from place to place to avoid being chased by the police.
“At the time of his arrest, the perpetrators were resting in one of the apartments. Because they often move from one apartment to another,” Deputy Director of General Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Imam Yulisdiyanto said when met by media crew in Jakarta, Tuesday, (4/7).
It was also said that the two suspects already knew that they were being hunted by the Police. That’s why they often move apartments.
“Yes, they already know that a search is being carried out by the police to account for their actions,” AKBP Imam continued.
It was explained that the arrest of the twin suspects was carried out at 05.00 WIB in an apartment located in Tangerang Regency.
“At the time of securing (arrest) we coordinated with his family and we were also assisted by local security and security at the apartment,” AKBP Imam said.
The two suspects are currently being questioned for 1 x 24 hours at Polda Metro Jaya to determine their next steps.
