Bogor – Compared to last weekend, the volume of vehicles passing through the Puncak area, Bogor Regency, West Java, this weekend has increased by 10 percent. This is common because the Puncak area is a favorite tourist destination for Jabodetabek residents.
“We have prepared 87 personnel to anticipate traffic jams due to the increased volume of vehicles. There are around 16,000 vehicles entering Puncak now,” Kapolres Bogor, AKBP Iman Aminuddin told media crew, Saturday (20/5) yesterday.
He continued, the officers on alert were on duty to guard and regulate traffic. Including security at tourist sites in the Puncak area.
“We will provide the best service to provide a sense of security and comfort to the people who will travel in the Puncak area and pass the Puncak route to Cianjur or Bandung,” said the jasmine officer who graduated from the Akpol 2002 Wicaksana Laghawa Battalion, smiling.
He also said that the officers on alert had also made several traffic engineering measures to anticipate congestion on the Puncak route. Among them by implementing an odd-even and one-way system.
