Jakarta – A house suspected of being the place for abortions at the abortion house on Jl Merah Delima, Sumur Batu, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, was raided by Polres Metro Jakarta Pusat officers.
A total of four female service users were arrested.Three of them, namely J, AS and RV, are currently undergoing post-abortion treatment and one other with the initials IT is about to undergo an abortion.
Meanwhile, the other three suspects who were also arrested were SN and NA who aborted the fetus and SM who became a pick-up driver.
Kapolres Metro Jakarta Pusat, Kombes Pol Komaruddin in his statement said the raid was carried out thanks to information from the public. Local residents are suspicious because activities in the house are always closed.
“From the information from the community that there was very suspicious activity from a new resident. The house’s activities are also closed,” said Kombes Pol Komaruddin.
The suspicions of the local residents were getting stronger, continued Kombes Pol Komaruddin, when he saw that several different women were coming to the house.
Initially, he added, residents suspected the house was a shelter for Indonesian workers (TKI).
“The mobilization was just cars coming and going, including a few more women who went inside. The temporary suspicion from residents is that this place is to accommodate migrant workers,” said the officer who graduated from the 1997 Wira Pratama Battalion Akpol who is under the Gemini zodiac.
