Jakarta – Sub-directorate of Resmob Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya succeeded in resolving the case of finding a body, aka milkfish, in the East Flood Canal (BKT) Cakung, East Jakarta, Friday, (10/11) last week.
This good news was conveyed by the Direskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Hengki Haryadi, who was accompanied by the Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko.
Kombes Pol Hengki told journalists that the body was a victim of murder accompanied by violent theft. The mode of this crime is buying and selling cars via the social media Facebook.
The victim is known to have the initials DDY (39). When found, the victim was dead with wounds to the neck and a stab wound to the stomach with a sharp weapon.
From the disclosure of this case, the Subdit Resmob Polda Metro officers were finally able to arrest the perpetrator. There are three perpetrators who have been arrested, namely R alias Kevin (29), IS alias FII (31), and JS (48). Meanwhile, another perpetrator with the initials GIP alias Bodong is on the wanted list (DPO) and is still being hunted.
“The suspect committed a violent theft by injuring the victim to the point of losing his life and taking the victim’s car,” said Kombes Pol Hengki during a press conference at the Polda Metro Jaya Headquarters, Friday, (17/11).
“The car was initially offered by the victim on Facebook social media,” he continued.
It was explained that the case began when perpetrators R and IS told the victim to come to an apartment in the South Jakarta area.
“At that time the suspect gave the victim a drink containing sleeping pills that had been purchased to anesthetize the victim, but the victim remained conscious,” said Kombes Pol Hengki.
“Then the suspect sent fake proof of full payment for the purchase of the victim’s car. “But the victim said he hadn’t come in yet and asked to go home,” he continued.
The victim and the perpetrators who had prepared sharp weapons then went to the victim’s house together.
“When passing in front of the Tebet Toll Gate, South Jakarta, a number of suspects suddenly covered the victim’s face and held the victim’s hand.Then there was another suspect who stabbed and slit the victim’s throat until he died,” explained Kombes Pol Hengki.
After that, he continued, the victim’s body was disposed of by throwing it into the East Flood Canal (BKT) Cakung, East Jakarta.
“The suspects had time to wash the victim’s car, until they were finally arrested in the Cilegon Banten area while fleeing,” said Kombes Pol Hengki Haryadi, ending his explanation.
From the perpetrator’s hands, the Subdit Resmob Polda Metro Jaya managed to secure evidence in the form of a black Fortuner car belonging to the victim, three cellphones and one burnt shirt belonging to the perpetrator.
To be held accountable for their actions, the perpetrators will be charged with multiple articles, namely Article 340, Article 338 and Article 365 of the Criminal Code. They face the threat of imprisonment for more than five years and a maximum of life or death. Bembo
