Jakarta – Panglima TNI, Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto together with Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo reviewed and ensured the readiness of TNI-Polri officers who are part of Operation Mantap Brata 2024 at the Tactical Command Post (Poskotis) in the Silang Monas area, Jakarta Pusat, Wednesday, (14/2).
The presence of the Panglima TNI and Kapolri accompanied by their respective main officials ensures that their members are ready to carry out security duties in the 2024 Election.
Before carrying out the checks, the Panglima TNI and Kapolri received a presentation from the Kapolres Metro Jakarta Pusat, Kombes Pol Susatyo Purnomo Condro regarding the number of troops and areas that were suspected of being vulnerable to the voting process.
The Panglima TNI said, that his party had given TNI soldiers BKO to the Polri to secure the implementation of the elections throughout Indonesia.
“The BKO for the Polri in the Jakarta area is 10,000 personnel who are guarding the polling stations and there are also those on standby in units. Last night we carried out joint patrols around the Jakarta area,” said the Panglima TNI.
Regarding several regions in Indonesia which were delayed in holding elections due to natural disasters such as floods and rain, the Panglima TNI hopes that everything can run well and professionally with the support of all Indonesian people.
Also on this occasion, Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto and Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the Army, Navy and Air as well as Main Officials of the TNI and Polri took the time to eat together with their members who were carrying out security as a form of togetherness and closeness between leaders and subordinates in carrying out their duties.
