Pekanbaru – The Kapolda Riau, Inspector General of Police Mohammad Iqbal, officially opened the 2023 Obedient Lancang Kuning Pre-Operation Training activities. The opening was held at the Tribrata Hall, 5th Floor, Riau Police Headquarters, Thursday, (25/5) yesterday afternoon, around 11.00 WIB.
In his direction, Kapolda Mohammad Iqbal asked all participants to take the training seriously, so that it can be applied properly in carrying out their duties and the Kasatgas can manage and control their personnel.
“The Kasatgas is also responsible for reports related to Operation Compliance 2023. In Operation Compliance 2023 there is a budget that is accounted for in accordance with its designation,” said Kapolda Iqbal.
Furthermore, the Regional Police Chief Iqbal also asked personnel to suppress security disturbances so that the Kamtibmas situation could be conducive and police services could be more primed and maximized ahead of Bhayangkara’s birthday.
“What we want to achieve, especially in the Pekanbaru City area in this obedient operation, is to create obedience to the community. Always use a helmet, complete vehicle certificates and comply with other traffic regulations,” said the two-star general who graduated from the 1991 Bhara Daksa Akpol Battalion.
He added that the officials involved in this operation were also able to form a team that could work on an ongoing basis to make it easier to provide compliance to the public.
“Pre-emptive and preventive efforts are an important point in carrying out compliance operations, one of which is by placing traffic compliance banners in public places,” said Kapolda Iqbal.
“Carry out tasks humanely, professionally and proportionally so that people can feel the presence of the Police in the midst of society,” he continued ending the directive.
