Jakarta – Head of the Traffic Police Corps (Kakorlantas) of the National Police, Inspector General of Police Firman Shantyabudi proposed that ordering vehicle number plates using someone’s name be valued at Rp500 million. According to him, this is far more realistic than increasing non-tax state revenue (PNBP) from making a driving license (SIM).
This proposal, said Inspector General Pol Firman, was a follow-up to the use of RF plates for officials who were not on target.
If there are several names with the same name, he continued, then those who offer the highest price are entitled to get plates.
“Tomorrow we hope the government will issue a decision. I can use that number as an example of the ‘Yusri 1’ car, sir. If he is willing to pay Rp500 million for five years why not, but it is included in PNBP, sir,” he explained.
“That’s much more realistic, we offer free odd-even. If there are 16 people who propose Yusri’s name, we’ll auction it sir, until who’s the highest-highest-priced, (the funds) go back to the state, sir,” he continued.
According to him, this is far more realistic than the inclusion of PNBP from SIMs, the mechanism of which is still found by rogue elements. He hopes that making SIMs will no longer be used as an income target.
“It’s far more realistic, instead of apologizing, we apologize once again, don’t target your driver’s license, sir. We’re worried that we’ll sell Traffic Traffic Officers again, don’t pass, pass, sir. It’s happened, it’s not time to change class, you’re being transferred sir to chase PNBP ,” explained Inspector General Pol Firman.
The hope for the future, continues Inspector General Pol Firman, that the offer of license plates with names can be responded positively. He also promised that there would be data improvements related to the registration of the license plates.
“Perhaps we hope for this offer from you. Hopefully this can be published. Later we will fix the number plates, sir. We will confirm the data for motor vehicles (motorized vehicles), who is interested in certain numbers, after all, everything has been entered into our data since it was issued. up to the record, if it is recorded at ETLE,” he explained again.
“This is an alternative solution to increase the state’s PNBP. Besides that, we have tried to use ticket funds, which we don’t know where it has gone, sir,” Inspector General Pol Firman said. Bembo
