Kapolda Metro Jaya, Inspector General Pol Karyoto officially launched a complaints hotline for people who experience problems handling cases on Tuesday, (16/5).

Jakarta – Kapolda Metro Jaya, Inspector General of Police kept his promise to open a complaint hotline service to the public. The service was officially opened today, Tuesday (16/5), to accommodate people’s aspirations and complaints about the handling of cases at Polda Metro Jaya.

According to Kapolda Karyoto, the public can voice complaints or inquire about the certainty of case handling by calling the hotline number 082177606060.

The public can access the hotline number via the WhatsApp messaging application. That way, complaints submitted can be written down and scrutinized by officers.

“I opened a kind of dialogue with the people who are in litigation,” Kapolda Karyoto said to the media crew.

“We provide space for litigants who are complaining in nature, asking for legal certainty by opening this hotline,” he continued.

It was explained, the hotline was opened in response to public complaints about the slow handling of cases.

In addition, this complaint service also improves communication problems between the police and those who have cases.

“Pity the people who feel disturbed by the handling of their cases, which are not being resolved, or perhaps feel that our members lack communication so that they are seen as difficult or taking too long,” Kapolda Karyoto concluded the statement. Bembo
