Jakarta – Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) has handed over the hit-and-run case of a car driver with the initials OS who ran over Moses while riding his motorcycle in the Cakung area to the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) Polda Metro Jaya.
Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Director (Dirlantas), Kombes Pol Latif Usman said, that his party was no longer handling this case because it did not fulfill the elements of Article 311 of Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation.
“So like this, yesterday we processed the accident, after a special title was carried out, we stopped the accident case, because of that the elements in Article 311 were not included,” explained Kombes Pol Latif Usman to media crew, Tuesday, (20/6).
On the other hand, continued Kombes Pol Latif, the case actually fulfills the elements of Article 338 of the Criminal Code (the Criminal Code).
