Jakarta – Director of General Criminal Investigation (Direskrimum) Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Hengki Haryadi confirmed that Xylazine and the like as well as Tranq narcotics had not entered Indonesia.
“Not yet, not yet (within the jurisdiction of Polda Metro Jaya). It’s not that bad,” said Kombes Pol Hengki to reporters, Wednesday, (28/6).
As is known, the drug Xylazine and the like and narcotics Tranq have become a scourge in a number of cities in the United States. The reason is, the impact of these drugs makes users like ‘Zombies’ on the side of the road.
Kensington area, Philadelphia in the state of Pennysylvania is a ‘red’ city for this type of drug trafficking. Users freely use and distribute drugs in various corners of the city.
The city of Philadelphia is now also nicknamed the city of ‘zombies’, because its residents who are drug addicts move outdoors like zombies. They walk aimlessly with blank stares due to the effects of drug consumption.
For this reason, said Kombes Pol Hengki, in order to prevent the ‘Zombie’ outbreak and any drug effects from destroying the nation’s life, he very much asked for the active role of the community and
the commitment of officers in eradicating drug trafficking is maintained.
“In addition to helping the community provide information, law enforcement officers must also be committed to enforcing the law against narcotics,” he stressed.
Because, he continued, the mode of drug trafficking had developed and modified in such a way as to trick officers. So it needs serious handling in prevention.
“Nowadays there are many kinds, some in liquid form. Some are in the form of crystals, tablets. There are many different modes. Some are stored in bowls,” explained the officer who graduated from the 1996 Wira Satya Battalion, Police Academy, which is under the umbrella of the Libra zodiac. Bembo
