Jakarta – The 14-day implementation of Operation Zebra Jaya 2023 ticketed 2,402 vehicles in the jurisdiction of Polda Metro Jaya. Operation Zebra Jaya will be held from 18 September to 1 October 2023.
“The total number of violators who were given sanctions was 2,402 motorists,” said the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in his statement, Tuesday, (3/10) yesterday.
All drivers who commit violations are ticketed using the electronic ticketing system or e-TLE. He explained that data on 2,178 violators were ticketed by static e-TLE and 224 by mobile e-TLE.
Meanwhile, manual ticketing in Operation Zebra Jaya 2023 will not be carried out.
The most frequent violations committed by four-wheeled drivers were not using seat belts, there were 2,021 cases, 190 drivers violated markings, 81 people used gadgets while driving, 76 cases of four-wheeled drivers violated the speed limit, 23 motorbikes did not wear SNI helmets and 2 motorbikes went against the flow.
This data has decreased compared to the 2022 Operation Zebra Jaya data, which amounted to 4,548 violations.
