Jakarta – To make it easier for people to get a driver’s license (SIM), the Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the Indonesian National Police has published a guidebook for the theory of driving license exams. Head of Korlantas Polri Inspector General Pol Firman Santyabudi said Kapolri General Listyo Sigit Prabowo asked Korlantas to facilitate the public in the process of applying for a SIM. Therefore, one of the efforts is to publish a practice book on SIM theory exam questions.
“We answered by printing the question book, SIM A and SIM C. Hopefully with this book – and later we will include it in the application – people can read it right away. There are questions and answers. What should they do in while behind the wheel,” explained Inspector General Pol Firman during a recent hearing with Commission III of the DPR RI.
He said the book was given away free of charge. Not only the physical form, the practice book for questions on the SIM theory exam can also be downloaded from the official website of the Korlantas Polri.
“We provide this book free of charge. It can also be seen in the application if it is not printed. Hopefully this is our answer as a follow-up to the leadership’s directives to make it easier for people to obtain SIMs according to the abilities they learned earlier,” he explained.
“In the past, we were scolded, sir. How can we graduate, we have never been given practice, suddenly we have exams. So now there is a book. Hopefully this is our answer to society that we want people to be safe with knowledge and attitudes that can be changed after they read and practice,” he continued.
“Only during the exam we will randomize it, sir. So if you want to pass, please read all of it,” Inspector General Pol Firman said.
