Jakarta – Head of the National Police Public Relations Division, Irjen Pol Sandi Nugroho, received a visit from the Kapuspen TNI, Mayjen TNI Nugraha Gumilar and his entourage at the Humas Polri Building, last Thursday, (25/1). Irjen Pol Sandi stated that it was an honor and pride for the Polri to receive a visit from the Kapuspen TNI and his entourage.
During this visit, the Kadiv Humas Polri invited the Kapuspen TNI and his entourage to visit a number of rooms in the Humas Polri Building. Starting from the mini conference room; command center; SPIT and Media Hub; mini theater, TB News and INP, to Polri TV.
Irjen Pol Sandi also explained the Public Relations Division programs that have been running so far. With the various challenges faced along with the development of technology, Polri Public Relations always strives to implement the Kapolri’s digital-based policing program.
“For 72 years, Humas Polri has continued to create various innovations to keep up with the very rapid development of information technology. One of them is the Presisi Public Relations portal application which we have seen together in the Police Public Relations Warroom,” explained Irjen Pol Sandi.
He also explained, further about the PR portal which is like a big house. The portal is integrated with all social media applications and online media for all public relations staff.
Irjen Pol Sandi hopes, that in the future the Humas Polri and the Puspen TNI can continue to work together. He also expressed his gratitude for the support the TNI has provided so far.
“We hope that the TNI-Polri, especially the Puspen TNI and Divhumas Polri, in the future can increasingly synergize and collaborate to provide information, education and literacy to the public. Apart from that, together we will become a cooling system in securing the 2024 election series,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Kapuspen TNI, Mayjen TNI Nugraha Gumilar in his statement expressed his appreciation for what the Humas Polri has carried out so far. For him, the programs under the leadership of Irjen Pol Sandi deserves two thumbs up because human resources and technology have been integrated.
It is undeniable that the Kapuspen TNI, digital literacy is indeed one of the most important things in the current era. The public needs to continue to be educated to use the internet wisely so as not to be provoked.
