Jakarta – The two best graduated officers from the Police Academy (Akpol) who won Adhi Makayasa are now filling two important posts in Polda Metro Jaya under the leadership of Inspector General Pol Karyoto. The two officers were placed in the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) and assumed the duties of Head of Sub Directorate (Kasubdit).
Interestingly, one of the two officers is a female police officer (Polwan). He is Kompol Ratna Quratul Aini. Currently, Kompol Ratna serves as Kasubdit 2/Harda Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya.
It should also be noted that Kompol Ratna is the only female police officer in the history of the Police Academy who won Adhi Makayasa. She completed her Police Academy education in 2006. Not only was she named the best graduate who won the Adhi Makayasa award, the woman who was born in Pati, May 10, 1982 was also awarded the special Adhi Respond award because her academic grades were the highest in the 2006 Setia Akpol Battalion.
Before filling the position as Kasubdit 2/Harda, Kompol Ratna first served at Subdit 5/Renakta Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya as Acting Kasubdit Renakta. Previously, he served in the area as the Kapolsek Metro Penjaringan.
At that time, his brilliant police career was hit by quite a tough ordeal. This mother of two children was questioned by Propam for alleged abuse of the authority of its members in handling a case.
As is known, at that time his subordinates, namely AKP M Fajar who served as the Kasat Reskrim Polsek Metro Penjaringan, were involved in a legal case and violation of the code of ethics because he was caught receiving bribes from online gambling actors.
Because Kompol Ratna’s position at that time was AKP M Fajar’s superior, inevitably he was dragged into investigation because he suspected that he knew about the bribe money. But Kompol Ratna was able to prove that the allegations against him were not true. He clarified this proof by returning to Polda Metro Jaya to join the ranks of Ditreskrimum officials until now.
Apart from Kompol Ratna, the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya still has one official from the ranks of officers who won Adhi Makayasa. He is AKBP Samian, the best graduate from the 2005 Tathya Dharaka Battalion of the Police Academy.
AKBP Samian was returned by Kapolda Metro Jaya Inspector General Pol Karyoto to Ditreskrimum via telegram number ST/327/VIII/KEP./2023, dated 11 August 2023. In the telegram, AKBP was entrusted by the leadership to carry the workload as Head of Sub-directorate 4/Jatanras.
When this news narrative was being made on Thursday, 17 August 2023 which also coincided with the 78th anniversary of Indonesian Independence, AKBP Samian was still on duty at the Menteng Metro Police and was in the middle of preparing for a new assignment transfer at the Ditreskrimum.
“Wass sir. Still in Menteng,” he said in a WhatsApp message received by topikonline.co.id.
Before being entrusted with becoming the Head of Sub-Directorate 4/Jatanras, this officer who is under the umbrella of the Aquarius zodiac has also served at the Ditreskrimum when he held the rank of Kompol. And it just so happened that his post at that time as Head of Unit II Sub-Directorate 2/Harda was part of the structure of the Sub-Directorate which is now led by Kompol Ratna Quratul Aini, his junior at the Police Academy who is also the best graduate who won the Adhi Makayasa award.
It is known that the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya has six Sub Directorates (Subdit) in its organizational structure. Of the six Sub-Directorates, two Sub-Directorates are currently captained by the best graduated officers from the Police Academy who hold the Adhi Makayasa award.
If you are allowed to dream a little and predict the possibilities for the future, it is not impossible and it is very likely that there will be at least one more officer who won Adhi Makayasa who was withdrawn to the Ditreskrimum of Polda Metro Jaya to serve as Kasubdit.
