Jakarta – Polda Metro Jaya is holding large-scale patrols in the context of Operation Mantap Brata Jaya 2023-2024. This activity is in an effort to anticipate developments in the public order security situation (Kamtibmas) ahead of the 2024 elections.
For large-scale patrol activities today, Tuesday, (31/10), 234 personnel were deployed. The personnel deployed will serve in three zones, namely central, western and southern. The targets of security patrols are:
KPU, political party headquarters, presidential and vice presidential candidates’ residences and offices
winning.
This large-scale patrol activity began with a roll call led by the Head of the Preemptive Sub-task Force for Mantap Brata Operations 2023-2024 Polda Metro Jaya, Kompol Yus Jahan in front of the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate building of Polda Metro Jaya, Tuesday, (31/10).
“This activity is an effort to prevent crime and all forms of criminal acts which aims to make people feel safe and comfortable when doing their activities,” said
Commissioner Yus Jahan in his direction.
He also said that the personnel on duty should never forget to prioritize a harmonious attitude towards society.
“And you have to pay attention to your appearance and neat appearance. “And most importantly, take care of your colleagues’ health,” he said again.
This large-scale patrol activity will be carried out every day during the 2023-2024 Brata Jaya Steady Operation. Bembo
