Jakarta – The new policy for changing the practice exam material for driving licenses (SIM) for motorbikes has been officially implemented by the Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) Polda Metro Jaya starting today, Friday, (4/8).
This new policy is a follow-up to the Korlantas Polri at the direction of the Kapolri, General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo. As is known, the Kapolri once said that the SIM C practice test was like a zig-zag trajectory and number 8 to be re-evaluated. The problem, according to the Kapolri, is that this model of practical examination is very difficult and irrelevant.
There are 4 new policy points for the C SIM practice exam material which are starting to be enforced today by the Polda Metro Jaya Ditlantas at the Daan Mogot SIM Satpas, West Jakarta and the ranks of the Polres in the jurisdiction of Polda Metro Jaya.
The first point is the change in track which has now become a circuit that accommodates 4 practice exam materials. Then the second point is to delete the zig-zag or slalom test material. The third point is to change the test material forming the number 8 to the exam material to form the letter S. And the last or fourth point is to renovate the size of the track which was 1.5 times the width of the vehicle to 2.5 times the width of the vehicle.
“Yes, this is a follow-up to the order from the National Police Chief. From Korlantas, we have issued instructions for the latest driver’s license test and we will implement it,” explained Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Latif Usman, to journalists, Thursday, (3/8) yesterday.
He said, 4 points of this new policy change were made by Korlantas Polri to accommodate four practice exam materials. The dimensions of the circuit have also been widened and now form the letter S.
“The dimensions of the width of the circuit, which used to be narrow, have now been made wider. Also, there is no more zig-zag or slalom test materials,” said this jasmine officer, who has three Leo zodiac signs.
He continued, as the implementation of the new policy begins today, the practice of its implementation will likely be reviewed directly by the Kakorlantas Polri, Inspector General of Police Firman Shantyabudi.
