Jakarta – A total of 3,041 joint personnel have been prepared by Polda Metro Jaya to secure the third 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) debate which will be held at Istora Senayan, Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) complex in Jakarta, Sunday, (7/1) evening. A situational traffic engineering scheme has also been prepared by the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya, following traffic conditions around GBK.
“For security, we have deployed 3,041 joint personnel,” said Karo Penmas Divhumas Polri and Head of Public Relations Polda Metro Jaya, Brigjen Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in a written statement, Sunday, (7/1).
The 3,041 joint personnel on standby consist of 2,877 Polri element personnel, divided into 727 Satgaspus personnel, 2,000 Satgasda personnel and 100 Satgasres personnel. Then from the TNI elements there were 120 personnel consisting of 100 TNI personnel and 20 POM AD personnel.
Then 94 DKI Regional Government personnel consisting of 40 Satpol PP personnel, 35 Transportation Agency personnel, 14 Fire Department personnel and 5 crane personnel.
“Joint personnel from the Polri, TNI and the DKI Provincial Government through the pre-emptive, preventive, public relations and operational assistance task force will be tasked with securing according to the dynamics of the nature of the task and function of the target of securing the 3rd Presidential Election Debate activities,” explained Brigjen Pol Trunoyudo.
He also said, that the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya was ready to implement a traffic engineering scheme around the GBK area if necessary. Its application is situational, depending on conditions and situations in the field.
The following is a traffic engineering scheme that has been prepared by the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya:
1. Traffic flow from Jalan Gatot Subroto heading to Jalan Pemuda Gate is directed straight to Jalan Gatot Subroto towards Slipi.
2. Traffic flow from Jalan Asia Afrika is directed straight towards Jalan Hang Tuah Raya.
3. Traffic flow from Senayan Roundabout heading to Jalan Pintu Senayan is directed straight to Jalan Jenderal Sudirman.
As is known, the third debate for the 2024 presidential election will be held at Istora Senayan on Sunday, (7/1) at 19.00 WIB evening. The themes of the presidential debate are defense, security, international relations, globalization, geopolitics and foreign policy.
The presidential candidate debate this time will be guided by moderators Ariyo Ardi and Anisha Dasuki. A total of 11 experts from fields related to the debate theme have been selected as panelists to prepare questions. Bembo
