Jakarta – Polres Metro Jakarta Barat collaborated with the Brimob Gegana Polda Metro Jaya Team to sterilize a number of churches in the Jakarta Barat area, Sunday, (24/12).
This action is a proactive step for the Polres Metro Jakarta Barat to ensure safety and comfort during Christmas worship celebrations.
Head of Operations for the Polres Metro Jakarta Barat, AKBP Randi Ariana, said, that the sterilization was carried out by the Gegana Polda Metro Jaya team. Several churches received special attention, especially the HKBP Petojo Church on Jalan Kyai Tapa Grogol Petamburan, ST Kristoforus Church on Jalan Satria IV Jelambar, GKY Mangga Besar Church, MKK Meruya Selatan Church Kembangan, Kalideres Immaculata Church, and Salvator Church Slipi.
This sterilization step, said AKBP Randi, is the commitment of the Polres Metro Jakarta Barat to ensure the safety and comfort of Christians during the Christmas worship celebrations. The Brimob Gegana team, which has been specially trained, was involved to handle certain security situations.
With this sterilization, it is hoped that Christmas worship celebrations in 185 churches in Jakarta Barat will be peaceful, smooth and safe for the congregation who will celebrate Christmas worship. Bembo
