Jakarta – The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) Polda Metro Jaya emphasized that all reports related to the Rocky Gerung case were handled according to procedure. All mechanisms and stages are carried out following the applicable regulations.
“Everything is in accordance with the SOP. Both the receipt of the police report and the follow-up,” explained the Director of the Special Criminal Investigation Unit for Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Safri Simanjuntak to reporters, Friday, (4/8).
He said, every report that goes to the police will be followed up as long as it meets the criminal elements.
“After the LP was made at the SPKT and the LP was received by the investigator, the first step taken by the investigator was to clarify the complainant and witnesses brought by the complainant at that time. This was in accordance with the SOP, in serving the public who reported suspected criminal acts to the SPKT,” he explained .
Kombes Pol Ade Safri also emphasized that there was no different treatment for the reporter Rocky Gerung. Every police report that goes to Polda Metro Jaya will be studied and assessed accordingly

Regarding the plan to summon expert witnesses to handle this case, Kombes Pol Ade Safri said it would be carried out this Friday.
“For criminal law experts, it is scheduled to be clarified on Friday, August 4, 2023,” he said.
He also explained that the Rocky Gerung case is included in the realm of ordinary offenses even though there have been 3 reports against Rocky that have entered the Polda Metro Jaya. Bembo
