Jakarta – AH (27), the man who murdered the woman with the initials FD (44) near the lobby of Tanjung Duren Mall, West Jakarta, is known to suffer from paranoid schizophrenia mental disorder. It is strongly suspected that the perpetrator’s actions were the result of symptoms of this disorder.
“The perpetrator’s act of murder by slitting the victim’s throat is part of the symptoms of his mental disorder,” said Kapolres Metro Jakarta Barat, Kombes Pol M Syahduddi during a press conference at the Mapolrestro Jakarta Barat, Tuesday, (23/10).
Kapolres Syahduddi explained that the perpetrator was known to often hallucinate. In the last 6 months, several times the perpetrator tried to do something strange.
Starting from duct taping lamps because the holes are thought to emit evil rubbish, to spilling entire gallons of water because it is said there are evil creatures.
“When he relapsed and had hallucinations of murder, that was what the perpetrator experienced. This was confirmed (by) the hospital doctor’s statement so that is what caused the perpetrator’s (actions) against the victim,” explained Kapolres Syahduddi.
For your information, FD was found dead on Tuesday (26/9) at around 07.00 WIB. That morning FD was about to go to work at his office which was located in the same area as the mall.
FD is known to live in an apartment attached to the mall. Unfortunately, he was suddenly attacked by perpetrator AH (27) and died. Bembo
