Siregar, Head of Senen Subdistrict, Rony Jatmiko and representative from the Central Jakarta BNNK, AKBP Desi.
Kapolda Karyoto on this occasion said, that this visit was one of Polda Metro Jaya’s efforts to prevent violations in the surrounding environment.
“The role of parents is very important in monitoring children doing negative things. Parents must be able to limit or prevent this. The easiest control tool for monitoring children is a cellphone,” said Kapolda Karyoto.
According to him, many of the victims who died as a result of brawls were teenagers who were still in high school. Therefore, it must be remembered that everything related to children is the responsibility of the parents.
“As parents, we must know our children’s habits. What are you doing, where and with whom? I have ordered the Dirreskrimsus to look for people or groups who like to incite our children to brawl,” he stressed.
Furthermore, Kapolda Karyoto also ordered Bhabinkamtibmas to revive the security guard posts in his area. The reason is, the kamling post is a forum for friendship, getting to know each other and exchanging information as a way to reduce actions that violate the law.
“At every kamling post there must be a telephone number for the Kapolsek or Bhabinkamtibmas for the public to contact. Because communication is the most effective way to reduce an unlawful act,” said Kapolda Karyoto.
“If all people can act as police for themselves, then a safe and conducive situation will be created,” he continued.
Regarding the 2024 General Election which will be held soon, Kapolda Karyoto also conveyed a message to respect and respect each other’s choices. Elections are a democratic celebration that must be held safely and happily.
“We must respect whoever wins and support it for the sake of Indonesia’s future progress. Let us work together to maintain security and order in our respective regions,” reminded Kapolda Karyoto.
In this activity, Kapolda Karyoto also provided assistance with 7 portable speakers, 7 Kamtibmas barcodes and 2 flashlights to local sub-districts.
