Bandung – The Kapolda Jawa Barat, Inspector General Pol Akhmad Wiyagus, inaugurated changes to the material for the practice exam for driving licenses (SIM) for motorbikes or SIM C at the Mapolresta Bandung, Monday, (7/8/) yesterday.
The change in practice material for getting a SIM now is the elimination of zig-zag lines. Then the path that forms the number 8 is now changed to form the letter S.
Besides that, if before there was no traffic light, now there is a traffic light. So that the applicant can follow the lights that are on. If red stops and green starts again.
In addition, there are also branches of dismissal that are adjusted to the direction of the officer.
Not only that. All lanes or tracks are also changed to be wider. If the initial width was only 120 centimeters, it is now 160 centimeters. With the addition of this width, it will be easier for participants to pass the practical test.
While witnessing the practice test for SIM applicants, the Kapolda Akhmad Wiyagus, did not forget to convey a message that safety must be considered. This message was immediately agreed upon by the Wadirlantas Polda Jawa Barat, AKBP Edwin Afandi.
“Don’t let the left turn turn to the right,” AKBP Edwin said, smiling.
He said again, his party also wanted to inform the public in West Java, that now all SIM practice exams in West Java are under the direction and attention of the Kapolri.
“Hopefully with the launching carried out by the Kapolda Jawa Barat today at the Bandung Police, it will provide convenience to the public who will carry out the SIM practice exam,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Kapolresta Bandung, Kombes Pol Kusworo Wibowo, also added that the mechanism or practice test for the SIM had been revised and improved according to the expectations of the Kapolri, General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
“Mr. Kapolda is here to inaugurate as a symbol, that all police officers in West Java, as of today have carried out SIM practice testing activities with a wider dimension of vehicles,” said Kusworo.
“Hopefully with the launch that was carried out by the Kapolda Jawa Barat today at the Bandung Police, it will provide convenience to people who will carry out the SIM practice exam,” he added. Bembo
