Jakarta – Investigators from the Jatanras Sub-Directorate, Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, carried out a reconstruction of the rape and murder case committed by the suspect, Argiyan Arbirama (20), against the victim, a Gunadarma University student with the initials KRA (20) in Depok, Tuesday, (23/1).
Reconstruction is carried out to see the facts of the actual event. Is it proven that it matches the statements of the suspect and witnesses? Investigators present the parties involved, including the suspect’s mother who reported this case.
The reconstruction was led by the Kasubdit Jatanras Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Rovan Richard Mahenu. The reconstruction shows 30 scenes that the suspect acted out in the suspect’s rented house in the Sukmajaya area, Depok.
“The reconstruction, which was originally 25 scenes in its implementation, has grown to 30 scenes. Five additional scenes related to AA raping the victim in her room,” said AKBP Rovan.
Previously, in the suspect’s BAP (investigation report), AA said there were 25 scenes. However, after remembering it, AA did up to 30 scene reconstructions.
“At the BAP, the perpetrator only explained 25 scenes. “After the reconstruction, there were several scenes that the perpetrators remembered,” AKBP Rovan said.
It was said that the suspect’s initial motive was to rape the victim by inviting the victim into his rented house. The victim struggled and screamed, so the suspect strangled him until he fell limp and eventually died.
“During the reconstruction, the suspect initially wanted to have sexual intercourse with the victim. “When he invited the victim into his rented house, the victim resisted by screaming so that the suspect strangled the victim until he went limp,” explained AKBP Rovan.
In a weak state, the suspect tied the victim. After that, the suspect AA raped KRA. After raping the victim, suspect AA then told his mother there was a body in his rented house. The suspect then fled to Pekalongan, Central Java and was finally caught at the Pekalongan Bus Terminal. Bembo
