Surabaya – Kapolda Jawa Timur, Irjen Pol Imam Sugianto and Waka Polda Jawa Timur, Brigjen Pol Akhmad Yusep Gunawan accompanied by the Polda Jawa Timur Principal Officer (PJU) received the Courtesy Call of the Commander of the Second Fleet Command II (Pangkoarmada II) at the Polda Jawa Timur Headquarters, Obedience Building, Tuesday, (2/1 ).
This activity is an effort to increase cooperation and synergy between the Kapolda Jawa Timur and the TNI, in this case Pangkoarmada II Surabaya.
During his visit, Pangkoarmada 2, Laksda TNI Denih Hendrata said that his party was ready to support and secure the organizers of the 2024 elections.
Even if it is necessary, his party will prepare the Republic of Indonesia Warship (KRI) for the distribution of logistics and personnel in the field.
“We have prepared personnel, as well as the KRI ship, to carry election logistics if that is necessary,” said Laksda TNI Denih Hendrata at the Polda Jawa Timur.
For security in the field, he continued, his party has also prepared personnel who will support the Police, in this case the Polda Jawa Timur, to realize safe and conducive peaceful elections, especially in Jawa Timur.
Meanwhile, Kapolda Jawa Timur, Irjen Pol Imam Sugianto said that he had ordered his staff to coordinate with election organizers in terms of logistics distribution.
Kapolda Imam also emphasized that the ranks of the Polda Jawa Timur will continue to be committed to maintaining the conduciveness of holding the 2024 elections in East Java.
This also includes securing the election logistics warehouse and distribution of these logistics by the KPU.
