Jakarta – Korlantas Polri changed the special plate number code ‘RF’ to ‘Z’. This special plate is valid from November 2023. If later it is found that there is a vehicle with the code number ‘RF’, it is certain that the plate is fake.
“So you use ‘RF’ later, if it’s 11 months and above, it’s fake. Please take a photo journalist, we’ll check it right away. This is all socialization, I’m changing the special number,” said the Director of Resident Korlantas Polri Brigadier General Pol Yusri Yunus to journalists during a press conference at the National Police Headquarters, Thursday, (22/6).
Regulatory changes regarding the provisions for the use of special official plates are certain to work. Even since October 2022, Korlantas Polri has no longer issued special ‘RF’ plates.
“So this is where we will regulate the regulations. We will discipline the rules. I have conveyed at that time, only echelon 1, echelon 2 can be done. In this case, Ditlantas issued a special number or a secret number,” he said.
“It means that in October 2022, it means that October 2023 will have zero RF-RF. So if someone uses November 2023 it is a false indication, and the letters, the number is the number 1 in front of it,” he continued again. Bembo
