Jakarta – In order to hone the skills of personnel in escort and patrol, the Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) Polda Metro Jaya held a motorized agility competition. This competition was attended by 48 participants.
The Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Latif Usman, in a written statement received by topikonline.co.id in Jakarta, Saturday, (10/6) said, that every personnel in the field must have expertise or be proficient in driving motorized vehicles, especially two-wheeled vehicles.
“Motorcycles require expertise that must be possessed by personnel in the field, especially in terms of escorts and patrols,” said Latif.
He also said that this competition was deliberately made to hone the abilities of the personnel and provide a sense of security to the community.
“We really want to provide a sense of security to the community with the activities we carry out. We also want to hone the capabilities of our personnel,” said the three jasmine officers who graduated from the 1995 Patria Tama Battalion of the Police Academy. Bembo
