Jakarta – Polda Metro Jaya will deploy 2,450 joint personnel to secure the MPR/DPR annual session today, Wednesday, (16/8).
The 2,450 joint personnel deployed consisted of 2,211 Polri personnel, 150 TNI personnel and 89 other personnel from the Regional Government.
“Joint security personnel from three institutions. Most of them are still from the National Police and a total of 2,450 joint personnel,” Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko told media crew, Wednesday, (16/8).
Meanwhile, MPR chairman Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet) previously said the 2023 annual session would be attended by 1,549 people. The former president and vice president of the Republic of Indonesia were also invited to the session.
“1,549 invitees, including the president and vice president, former president and former vice president, former chairman of the MPR/DPR and DPD, heads of state institutions, all members of the MPR which consists of the DPR and DPD,” said Bamsoet in a press conference, Monday, ( 14/8) ago.
“Advanced Indonesian cabinet ministers and ministerial-level officials, then general chairmen of political parties representing representatives of the DPR with their respective coalitions, then the kings of the Archipelago, heads of religious organizations and exemplary representatives from all over the Archipelago,” he continued.
Apart from that, Bamsoet also confirmed President Jokowi’s presence at the 2023 MPR Annual Session. President Jokowi will deliver a performance report on state institutions as well as a state speech in the framework of the 78th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence. Bembo
