Jakarta – Polda Metro Jaya deployed 3,286 joint personnel to secure the League 1 match between Persija Jakarta and PSM Makassar at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK), Jakarta, Monday, (3/7).
“The total combined security personnel is 3,286 personnel,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in a written statement, in Jakarta, quoted from Antara.
Trunoyudo detailed that the joint personnel deployed consisted of 2,876 Polri members which included 2,426 Polda Metro Jaya personnel and 450 Polres personnel.
“Then from TNI personnel, there were 244 people, DKI Jakarta Regional Government (Pemda) as many as 166 people and ‘stewards’ (non-security personnel) as many as 604 people,” he said.
He also said, for the smooth flow of traffic, his party had also prepared traffic engineering around GBK to anticipate situational congestion.
“Yes, we are preparing traffic engineering, situational in the field,” he explained.
Persija Jakarta will host PSM Makassar in the first week of League 1 2023/24 season.
The duel will take place at the Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Senayan, Central Jakarta, Jakarta, Monday night at 19.00 WIB.
The match between the two teams was originally held on July 1, 2023. However, it was finally postponed until it was held this Monday, (3/7).
