Jakarta – Direskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Hengki Haryadi emphasized that no one could intervene in handling the iPhone fraud case by the twins. In fact, he continued, the two perpetrators who have the status of suspects are currently being hunted by a special team that was deliberately set up for this case.
This assertion was conveyed by Hengki in response to rumors that the suspect twins Rihana and Rihani were backed by their brother, who has the status of a police officer with the rank of jasmine two alias AKBP. This rumor first appeared in a post on one of the social media.
The post also narrates that the AKBP figure is also a ‘weapon’ to frighten victims who want to report them. With that backing, the twins were safe and never reported.
“Whatever the narrative is, we cannot intervene. We will continue to pursue it. Immediately arrest them. Moreover, the status of the two are already suspects. Hopefully we will reveal this case soon. Because the loss is quite large. From one prison there is IDR5 billion, there is IDR4 billion and it varies,” explained Hengki to journalists, Friday, (9/6).
He also said that currently there have been 13 police reports against the twins Rihana and Rihani. The police will analyze the reports one by one.
