Jakarta – The Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi threw the discourse on the 4 in 1 policy or one car for 4 people as an effort to reduce pollution in the spotlight. This discourse is seen as a way out of the high condition of air pollution in Jakarta and its supporting cities in recent times.
Responding to this discourse, the Wadirlantas of Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Doni Hermawan said that he was still waiting and seeing. The discourse is still under study and there is no technical implementation plan yet.
“It’s still being studied. Later it will be delivered from there (central government). There have been no technical discussions (with Polda Metro Jaya). But we will discuss it again later. At the moment it is still just waiting and monitoring,” AKBP Doni told reporters, Friday, (18/8) yesterday.
He further admitted that he did not know when the plan would be implemented. Thus, there is no certainty whether this discourse can be a solution to alleviating pollution and traffic jams in the capital.
“Not yet (know the time). His name is still being discussed. That is just a new discourse that will be discussed,” he said again.
“Not yet (know whether there is a solution), because it is still being discussed with relevant stakeholders, that is only one of the suggestions and input. All links to the problem of congestion and air pollution from traffic jams are still being studied,” he continued, ending the statement. Bembo
