Jakarta – Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto has been confirmed as the new Panglima TNI in the DPR RI plenary meeting today, Tuesday, (21/11). Chairman of the DPR, Puan Maharani, said that Jenderal TNI Agus would next be appointed as the new Panglima TNI by President Joko Widodo.
“Thank God, today the DPR RI has given approval for the dismissal and replacement of the incoming Panglima TNI in the name of Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto who, God willing, will be inaugurated tomorrow. Where and what time, please ask the President,” said Puan after the plenary meeting in DPR RI Building, Senayan, Jakarta.
Jenderal TNI Agus himself said that his inauguration would take place on Wednesday, (22/11) at 10.00 am WIB.
