Jakarta – The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Penjaringan Metro Police arrested the suspect in the deadly brawl in Muara Baru, Penjaringan, North Jakarta. He was arrested in Tambun, Bekasi, last Monday (14/8).
The suspect with the initials FNU is still young, 20 years old. He was arrested because he was involved in the persecution that left the victim, AM (24) dead. He is also known to be a member of the group social media accounts (medsos) ‘Team Orang Keren’ or T-O-K.
“We arrested a suspect following a social media account with the initials FNU at his home, Tambun area, Bekasi, West Java, on August 14, 2023 at around 04.00 WIB. The evidence we confiscated included a red sickle-type sharp weapon and also the results of post-mortem examinations from the victim,” say

He also explained that the victim was stabbed to death by an FNU knife in the Luar Batang area. The suspect, continued Kompol Bobby, carried out the action because he was provoked by his colleagues who were also members of a group on the T-O-K social media account.
The deadly brawl occurred on Saturday, (5/8) two weeks ago. A week later, on Saturday, (12/8), the victim AM died after being treated in intensive care at Tarakan Hospital.
Furthermore, Kompol Bobby also appealed to the public to be careful and aware of all T-O-K account activity. If it is found that there is activity that has the potential to violate the law, immediately report it to the authorities.
By investigators, the suspect FNU, who is currently languishing in the Penjaringan Metro Police cell, was charged with Article 351 of the Criminal Code concerning severe maltreatment which caused the victim’s death. He faces a maximum sentence of 7 years in prison. Bembo
