Jakarta – The international network of drug dealers of the methamphetamine type has been successfully overthrown by the Polrestro Jakpus. Four suspects were arrested along with 20.63 kg of methamphetamine as evidence.
In his statement, Kapolres Metro Jakpus, Kombes Pol Komarudin said, of the four suspects arrested, three people were brushed off in the South Sumatra region on Sunday, (11/6) last week. From the three suspects, 20 plastic packets of Chinese tea were confiscated which contained methamphetamine.
“We brushed the three of them on Sunday, (11/6), around 11.00 WIB, around the Terpeka rest area KM 269 A Balian Makmur, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The initials are W, J and MD,” said Komarudin during the conference press at Polres Metro Jakarta Pusat, Friday, (16/5) yesterday.
From there, development was carried out which eventually led to a fourth suspect with the initials ALF. The suspect ALF was the recipient of evidence from the three suspects who had been arrested by the police first. ALF was arrested in the Kapuk area, North Jakarta, last Monday, (12/6).
“ALF was arrested on Monday, (12/6), around 13.00 WIB, in the truck parking lot at the AKR Kapuk gas station, North Jakarta. He is the suspect who took the 20 kg of methamphetamine,” said Kapolrestro Komaruddin.
“With this network scheme, suspects W, J, and MD are in charge of delivering methamphetamine narcotics on orders from AB who are still being sought. Meanwhile, suspect ALF is tasked with picking up methamphetamine-type narcotics at the behest of the AD who is on the wanted list,” continued officer three jasmine from the Wira Pratama Battalion Police Academy 1997.

“The three admitted that this was their third shipment. The second, they also sent 15 kilograms of methamphetamine with a wage of IDR 350 million. We have also succeeded in uncovering the 15 kilograms,” explained the Kapolrestro, Komaruddin.
It is estimated that the value of methamphetamine currently seized is around IDR 30 billion. While the four suspects who are currently in jail are charged with multiple articles, namely Article 114 paragraph 2 subsidiary Article 112 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 132 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
