Bogor – Polres Bogor officers managed to arrest eight people suspected of being gangsters. They were arrested when they were about to cause trouble in Cibinong, Bogor Regency, West Java (West Java). Of the eight people, the police confiscated a samurai and five motorbikes.
“Thanks to the swift work of Sat Samapta Polres Bogor managed to arrest 8 people suspected of being a gangster group,” said Head of Samapta Polres Bogor, Iptu Yogi Nugraha in a written statement, Sunday, (14/5).
Yogi said the police arrested the gangsters after receiving reports from the public about a group of people allegedly planning to stage a brawl around a leather factory on Jalan Raya Jakarta-Bogor, Cibinong.

After arriving at the location, a group of people suspected of being gangsters had scattered and some of them fled towards Jalan Raya Sentul, Kandang Roda. In the end, the eight people were arrested,” said Yogi.
“The evidence secured was in the form of 1 samurai, 5 two-wheeled vehicles and 4 cellphones,” he added.
It is said, the eight people who were arrested were immediately taken and handed over to the Bogor Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
“Eight people suspected of being a gangster group have been handed over to the Bogor Police Criminal Investigation Unit to take further action with the process of examining and developing cases related to other groups that are troubling Kamtibmas in the Bogor Regency area,” concluded Yogi. Bembo
