Bogor – The Polres Bogor will provide psychological assistance to a 3-year-old boy who was kidnapped by his mother’s boyfriend named Rimson (33), in Jonggol, Bogor Regency, West Java.
The victim, who has now been returned to her parents, is still traumatized and afraid of meeting men or fathers.
“Today we are with the child’s parents. We have returned the child in good health. We will also continue to provide assistance to restore the child’s psychological condition,” explained the Kapolres Bogor, AKBP Iman Imanuddin to the media crew, Tuesday, (30/5).
“We have also conveyed to his mother for recovery assistance or trauma healing for the incident he experienced,” he continued.
Kapolres Iman said he had also tried to communicate with the victim. From there, he could clearly see the victim’s trauma, which was as if they were afraid to meet men or men.
To note, the kidnapping of this boy was carried out by his mother’s boyfriend named Rimson (33), in Jonggol, Bogor Regency, West Java.
Rimson kidnapped his own girlfriend’s child for 8 days. He had made threats of violence to get ransom.
“The suspect’s control lasted for about five days. Actually it took 8 days, but because this mother had time to look for it, two days later reported it to us,” Kapolres AKBP Iman Imanuddin said.
After receiving this report, continued Kapolres Iman, he immediately ordered the ranks to hunt down Rimson.
