Bogor – A joint roll call was held by the Polres Bogor together with Kodim 0621 Bogor Regency at the Main Square of the Bogor Police Headquarters, West Java. The roll call aims to ensure the readiness of personnel to carry out security duties for the 2024 elections.
Kapolres Bogor, AKBP Rio Wahyu Anggoro together with Dandim 0621 Bogor Regency Letkol Kav Gan Gan Rusgandara together checked the readiness of their members. They also gave a number of instructions to the members.
“This is a personnel readiness call. We want to check the readiness of personnel, both TNI and Polri in Bogor Regency. This is the tenth strength. This means, this is 10 percent of the strength in Bogor Regency,” explained Kapolres Bogor, AKBP Rio Wahyu Anggoro, Monday, (11/13).
“Earlier, Mr. Dandim and I have also explained that we must be able to maintain the security and social security situation in the Bogor Regency area related to the democratic party because soon we will celebrate the 2024 election,” he continued.
Furthermore, AKBP Rio also asked his members to collaborate with the TNI in providing security. He also asked his members if there are groups that disrupt the election, to process them.
“If there is a group that tries to disturb order in the implementation of the democratic party, then my order is to arrest them and process them. So it doesn’t take long, if they resist, we will take firm action,” he stressed.
He also said that the number of joint TNI-Polri personnel in the Greater Bogor area is around 12 thousand. Later there will also be assistance from the regional government.
“The total for Greater Bogor because we collaborate with the city is almost 12 thousand. This is assisted by the Regional Police Mobile Brigade Unit, the National Police Mobile Brigade Corps, then the regional government Satpol PP,” explained this officer who graduated from the Tatag Trawang Tungga Akpol Battalion in 2004.
At the same place, Letkol Kav Gan Gan also said that apart from synergy, he reminded his staff to be neutral in the elections. There will be sanctions for members who are not neutral.
“What I need to convey is that apart from emphasizing TNI synergy, we emphasize always neutrality in maintaining the name of TNI-Polri in the context of the 2024 elections. That is always the emphasis for the leadership.
