Jakarta – Joint officers from the Polres Metro Jakarta Pusat and the Polsek Tanah Abang have succeeded in arresting 5 suspects involved in the beating of two Satpol PP members named Yudi Prasetyo and Sastra Suhendi in the Menteng area, Jakarta Pusat.
The 5 suspects who were arrested had the initials BD, SR, SM, AS, and LH. The five of them have different roles in this case.
“BD, his role is hitting, then SR’s role is pushing. Then SM is also an interesting role, then AS, including LH,” said Kapolres Metro Jakarta Pusat, Kombes Pol Susatyo Purnomo Condro in a press conference, Wednesday, (3/1).
Furthermore, Kapolres Susatyo also said, that investigators had also carried out urine tests on the suspects. As a result, 4 of them were positive for drugs.
“The results for LH were positive for amphetamine or using methamphetamine, then SM was positive for amphetamine and PHC or marijuana. Then SR tested positive for amphetamines and marijuana. Then BD tested positive for using crystal methamphetamine,” said Kapolres Susatyo.
This beating case occurred on Sunday, (31/12). In the video circulating, you can see two Satpol PP members who were on guard suddenly being approached by a number of residents. They immediately pushed the Satpol PP member.
Some even threw punches at the Satpol PP. Then someone was seen trying to slam the victim.
