Jakarta – A total of 2,313 joint personnel have been prepared by Polda Metro Jaya to secure a number of Idul Adha 1444 Hijri activities which will take place today, Wednesday, (28/6) and tomorrow Thursday, (29/6).
The 2,313 personnel consist of 703 Polda Metro Jaya personnel, 130 TNI personnel, 40 personnel from the Regional Government of DKI Jakarta, and 1,440 personnel from the ranks of the Polres within the jurisdiction of Polda Metro Jaya.
“Polda Metro Jaya is doing security so that the implementation of the Eid al-Adha prayer and the qurbani activities will run smoothly,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in a written statement received in Jakarta, Wednesday, (28/6).
“In carrying out worship, of course the government from the Ministry of Religion has made a decision. And of course the whole community also maintains this togetherness in carrying out worship and respecting each other,” he continued.
Kombes Pol Trunoyudo hopes that Jakarta residents can maintain togetherness and respect each other’s different times for celebrating Eid al-Adha 1444 Hijriah.
Furthermore, he also appealed to the public to take advantage of holidays and do activities with family and be careful when traveling to tourist attractions.
He also reminded the public to always be vigilant against criminal acts that are always lurking.
“Again, our community urges us to be careful, please carry out activities, but vigilance is maintained,” he said.
As is known, the implementation of the Eid al-Adha prayer between the government and Muhammadiyah is different. Muhammadiyah according to Notice Number 1/MLM/I.0/E/2023 Concerning the Determination of the Results of Hisab Ramadhan, Shawwal, and Zulhijah 1444 Hijriah, states that 1 Zulhijah 1444 H falls on Monday (19/6), so Eid al-Adha (10 Zulhijah 1444 H) falls on Wednesday, (28/6).
Meanwhile, the government, which determined the beginning of Zulhijah 1444 Hijriah through an isbat meeting, decided that Eid al-Adha would fall on Thursday, (29/6). Bembo
