Jakarta – The case of alleged forgery of letters worth Rp39 billion carried out by an aide to the head of a political party with the initials RDW against PT Pilar Sapta Mandiri was reported to Polda Metro Jaya.
The police report was registered with Number LP/B/7332/XII/2023/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA on Wednesday 6 December 2023 at 13.52 WIB.
“The report has been received and will be investigated,” said Kabid Humas of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko when confirmed, Wednesday, (6/12).
Meanwhile, PT Pilar Sapta Mandiri’s attorney, Mora Sonang Marpaung, explained that RDW forged letters, forged signatures on letterheads and other documents related to PT Pilar Sapta Mandiri products, namely the procurement of media analysis equipment for the Army Cyber and Crypto Center (Pussansiad).
“He (RDW) offered us a job, then we gave him documents for administrative requirements. So the language is borrowing a flag. But when we waited for a long time there was no news. Suddenly there was an invoice to us from a third party, namely PT Linknet.Tbk ,” said Mora Sonang.
He suspects that RDW collaborated with PT Linknet without PT Pilar’s knowledge.
“So it is reasonable to suspect that RDW is collaborating with a third party, namely PT Linknet without PT Pilar’s knowledge and has produced (profits) that we don’t know about. So because of this we are reporting this to Polda Metro Jaya for follow-up,” said Mora.
For this case, RDW is subject to Law Number 1 of 1946 concerning the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 6 years in prison. Bembo
