Jakarta – Investigators from the Subdit Jatanras Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya have named Argiyan Arbirama (20), as a suspect in the murder and rape of his girlfriend with the initials KRA (20), a Gunadarma student in the Depok area, West Java.
Dirreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Wira Satya Triputra said, the suspect was charged with multiple articles. Starting from articles on murder, articles on serious abuse, to articles on rape.
“We are charging the suspect with the murder article, namely Article 338 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 351 Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code, namely abuse that results in a person’s death and/or rape, Article 285 of the Criminal Code,” said Kombes Pol Wira at a press conference, Monday, (22/1).
“With a maximum threat of 15 years in prison,” he added.
Argiyan’s depraved actions were revealed after he was determined to end his girlfriend’s life on Thursday, (18/1) at her rented house.
The suspect left the victim’s body in the rented house located at Jalan Belacus Gang Haji Daud, Sukmajaya District.
After killing the victim, the suspect ran away and sent a message of apology to his mother, Vina. The message stated that Argiyan had killed people in the rented house. He said goodbye and was going far away.
