Jakarta – Polda Metro Jaya received a hoax video report with narration of thousands of TNI led by TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono declaring Anies Baswedan’s support as President in 2024. The report was registered with number LP/B/2802/V/2023/SPKT Polda Metro Jaya. And now, Polda Metro is also investigating the report.
“In terms of the report, we have received it. Of course, the initial pre-reporting process is consultation or review. After we review it, we receive the report. We will also study it more deeply to carry out the investigation process. The current stage is still in the investigation stage,” explained the Head of Public Relations Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, Thursday, (25/5).
He said the case was being handled by the General Criminal Investigation Directorate. The reported party was the uploader of the video on the YouTube account ‘Menara Istana’.
“Then we all urge you to wait for the developments in the ITE case. Later, the Criminal Investigation Department will also convey developments,” Trunoyudo said.
He added that his party would also coordinate with the ranks of the TNI in investigating the existing cases.
