Polda Metro Holds Rowing Contest for High School Level

A number of participants in the Marching Line Rules (PBB) competition for the senior high school (SMA) level are making preparations at Polda Metro Jaya Precision Field, Saturday, (17/6).

Jakarta – Polda Metro Jaya held a marching order competition (PBB) for senior high school (SMA) level in welcoming Bhayangkara’s 77th anniversary. The competition was held to win the Kapolda Metro Jaya Trophy.

“The competition in the framework of the 77th Bhayangkara Day is to fight for the Police Chief trophy. Thank God, this is a potential for us to see how younger siblings are at school with PBB activities,” said Polda Metro Jaya Deputy Traffic Director AKBP Doni Hermawan when met at Polda Metro Jaya Precision Field, Saturday, (17/6).

He also said that there was no special theme in the celebration. What is important is that the participants are senior high schools within the jurisdiction of Polda Metro Jaya.

“Participants from the assisted high school from the Polda Metro Jaya Ditlantas and Satlantas Polda Metro Jaya ranks,” he said.

Doni added, each group of participants consisted of 10 to 15 people. While a total of 30 groups participated in the competition. For the assessment, the categories assessed were neatness, cohesiveness, and uniform attributes used by the participants.

“Later the evaluation will be based on neatness, cohesiveness, from uniforms and we will also see how their creations are,” explained the former Chief of the Cianjur Police.

He also explained that the 1st winner would later receive IDR 15 million in cash. In addition, there were 23 of the 30 groups of participants who were given good appreciation, entered the category of champions and so on.

“One of them is the best costume, the best creation. Later we will see who has the leadership at the United Nations,” he concluded.

The Indonesian National Police (Polri) began holding a series of Bhayangkara’s 77th anniversary from the central to regional levels from June 1 to the peak of the commemoration on July 1. The Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karopenmas) of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Brigadier General Pol Ahmad Ramadhan, said that this year’s 77th anniversary of Bhayangkara had the theme “Precise Police for the Nation.
