Jakarta – Main officials (PJU) of Polda Metro Jaya held a joint interfaith prayer at the Metro Jaya Meeting Hall, Monday, (26/6) evening. This activity was also in order to welcome the 77th anniversary of Bhayangkara.
Kapolda Metro Jaya, Inspector General Pol Karyoto said in his remarks that this activity was carried out as a form of practicing Pancasila and piety to God Almighty. In addition, it is also a unifier of ethnic and religious diversity.
He also said that through this activity he hoped that the religious leaders who were present would pray for the Police to be better.
“We also ask for prayers that the Police can become an institution that is increasingly trusted by the public. Of course, all the behavior of real work carried out by the National Police is oriented towards community service.” said Kapolda Karyoto.
Furthermore, the Karyoto Regional Police Chief also asked for prayers and support from religious leaders and the community so that the security for the 2024 elections can run safely and successfully.
“Hopefully, at the age of 77, the National Police can be more professional in serving the community optimally and prioritizing humanism,” he said at the end of his remarks.
