Malang – Panglima TNI Laksamana TNI Yudo Margono accompanied by Chief of Air Staff (KSAU) Marsekal TNI Fadjar Prasetyo, visited the residence of the four best TNI AU soldiers who died in the Super Tucano accident, Sunday, (19/11). During this visit, the Panglima TNI expressed his condolences and pride for the soldiers’ dharma of service.
The visit of the Panglima TNI is a form of sincere concern and final respect for the soldiers who have sacrificed their lives and bodies for the sake of the country’s duties. The Panglima TNI together with the KSAU also had the opportunity to provide moral support to the bereaved families and pray together with the bereaved families.
Separately, the KapuspenTNI Laksda TNI Julius Widjojono, explained that the four best Indonesian Air Force soldiers received an extraordinary promotion to one level higher. The granting of a rank one level higher by this country, to honor the services of four soldiers, namely Marsma TNI (Posthumous) Widiono Hadiwijaya, Marsma TNI (Posthumous) Subhan, Letkol Pnb (Posthumous) Yuda Anggara Seta, and Kolonel Pnb Sandhra Gunawan during their service in the Indonesian Air Force.
As for information regarding the Super Tucano plane crash, the Kapuspen TNI Laksda TNI Julius Widjojono, explained that the VDR/NCDC (voice and data recorder / network centric data cartridge) from the Super Tucano had been found. The VDR/NCDC is already at Abdulrachman Saleh Air Base and will be processing data reading and analysis to determine the cause of the crash of the two planes.
