Magelang – Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto accompanied Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurating the 8,068 m2 Military Academy Main Graha on Jalan Gatot Subroto Magelang, Central Java, Monday, (29/1). Also accompanying President Jokowi was the Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto and Chairman of Commission I DPR RI Mutiah Hafidz.
President Jokowi admitted that he was happy to be at the Magelang Military Academy. The reason is, this place is a crater for the best TNI soldiers in the Army to forge their mentality, forge their toughness and intellect.
The President hopes that the existence of Graha Utama will further motivate cadets’ learning because the facilities and infrastructure are more complete, more sophisticated and more modern. This main house can also be used for academic activities and military events.
Furthermore, President Jokowi also hopes that the addition of educational facilities will make the Magelang Military Academy even more advanced and produce tough and professional soldiers, who are ready to dedicate their best abilities to maintaining national unity and sovereignty, while also realizing Indonesia’s progress.
At the end of his speech, President Jokowi said, “Bismillahirohmannirrohim. At noon today i inaugurated the Main House of the Magelang Military Academy in Central Java. Thank you Wassalamu’alaikum warohmatullahi Wabarokatuh,” said President Jokowi.
