Jakarta – Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo held a video conference (vicon) with his staff to monitor security for New Year’s Eve 2024. Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto was also present to accompany the Kapolri at the vicon.
Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Agus arrived at the Promoter building, Polda Metro Jaya at around 20.15 WIB, Sunday, (31/12). His arrival was greeted by a number of TNI-Polri officials when he arrived at the location.
The Panglima TNI sat with the Kapolri in the chairs provided. Both of them received a report regarding the situation of Public Security and Order on New Year’s Eve 2024. Representatives from other institutions and agencies were also present at this activity.
In this vicon, Kapolri Listyo Sigit held an interactive dialogue with regional officials virtually. Representatives from a number of Polda submitted reports to the Kapolri.
For your information, there are 15,459 CCTV monitoring points deployed by the ICT DIV and Polda ranks to monitor security for New Year’s Eve 2024. Especially for Polda Metro Jaya, there are 20 CCTV points that can be accessed from the PMJ Promoter Building Command Center. The 20 location points are;
– 4 points in the Horse Statue Area.
– 3 points in the Indonesian KPU Office Area.
– 2 points in the RI Bawaslu Office Area.
– 2 points in the HI Roundabout Area.
– 2 points in the DPR RI Office Area.
– 2 points in the Cathedral Church Area.
– 2 points in the TMII Entrance and Exit Area.
– 2 points in the Ragunan Area.
– 1 point in the MK Building Area.
On New Year’s Eve 2024, 131 crowd permits have also been issued by Baintelkam Polri and Polda Ranks. Apart from that, in order to monitor the security and social security situation at the turn of New Year’s Eve 2024, at approximately 984 crowd gathering points, with an estimated mass of approximately 1.1 million people and involving 44,734 security personnel, vicons were also carried out with all Polda ranks.
