The XXXII Congress of the Islamic Student Association (HMI) and the XXV Kohati National Conference (Munas) 2023 in Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan, Friday, (24/11).
The congress activities were then officially opened by President Jokowi. In his speech, President Jokowi asked HMI and Kohati cadres to continue to oversee the historical journey of the Indonesian nation in realizing it becomes a developed country by 2045.
“HMI can always be active in overseeing Indonesia’s historical journey and ensuring Indonesia progresses as envisioned,” said President Jokowi.
On this occasion, the President of the Republic of Indonesia also admitted that he was happy with HMI cadres who were always optimistic about the future.
“There are challenges, but don’t be afraid, don’t worry, optimism is necessary, necessary. I’m glad the young people are very optimistic and don’t worry realistically. “Don’t let the progress that has been made be in vain because of divisions and mistakes in choosing to lead,” explained President Jokowi.
