Jakarta – Payment in cash at any place makes driving licenses (SIM) certain there will be no more. All payments for the process of making a SIM must be made through the bank.
This statement was conveyed by Kakorlantas Polri Inspector General Pol Firman Shantyabudi at the SIM Satpas Polda Metro Jaya, Jalan Daan Mogot Raya, West Jakarta, Friday, (4/8) yesterday afternoon.
“For information to friends too, that for the SIM test, the entire fee is to make payments through the bank,” said Inspector General Pol Firman.
“That means, there’s no more cash here,” continued the owner of the Scorpio zodiac.
According to him, this kind of transaction pattern was chosen to avoid extortion or bribes, which have the greatest chance of going into the officers’ personal pockets. Not into the treasury of state revenues.
For this reason, he also warned the public not to ever again try to seduce or lure officials so that they can be easily released. Especially when carrying out practical vehicle tests.
“Don’t be tempted by my members giving something to graduate,” Inspector General Pol Firman advised.
“It’s a pity that his mentality will be damaged if he is enticed. Even if there is, it means that the money (for) the private officer is used to go home or to buy food in the canteen,” he continued emphasizing again. Bembo
