Jakarta – The Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) Polda Metro Jaya abolished the Mobile Driving License (SIM) service in Jakarta on Thursday, (3/8) due to network maintenance problems.
Disitat from the official social media account, @TMCPoldaMetro, Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya apologizes for the cancellation of services which are usually open from 08.00 to 14.00 WIB in five locations.
“Sorry, for the time being the SIM service around the DKI Jakarta area is under repair (maintenance). Further information will be informed again,” said Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Latif Usman as quoted from the @TMCPoldaMetro account.
For people whose SIM validity period expires on Thursday, they are given a dispensation to take care of it the following day.
Information on the cost of extending a SIM, according to Government Regulation Number 60 of 2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue, is Rp80,000 for an extension of SIM A, and Rp75,000 for an extension of SIM C. Bembo
